# Complete a Connect action

Some Connect actions end with you, such as posting to a Facebook group. Lithi prepares the content and opens the place to post. You do the last step, then tell Connect what happened so nothing is done twice.

## Review and approve the action {#review-and-approve}

Pick your group, destination or task. Before you open anything, check where it goes, the group's current rules, the message, the link, the image, the language and the timing.

For Facebook Groups, **List**, **Board** and **Calendar** are three views of the same groups, not three copies of the work. A suggested group or prepared post helps you decide. It does not join the group or post for you.

If you change the target, message, sender, link or schedule, review the new version before you use it.

## Finish it yourself

When Lithi opens Facebook, copies a post or hands the content to another app, the last step is yours, unless the screen says Lithi will send it after you approve. Then record what you did.

## What each step tells you

Copying, opening and sending are different things, and Connect keeps them apart. Only the later steps show that something reached a person.

| Step | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| **Prepared / copied** | Lithi prepared the item, or the copy worked. |
| **Handoff opened / share completed** | The other app or share sheet opened or finished. |
| **User-attested sent** | You said you sent it. |
| **Provider confirmed sent/delivered/read** | The service that carried it reported that status. |
| **Link continued** | Someone followed the link. |
| **Identity matched / converted** | A later account or sign-up matched the journey. |

A copied post is not a sent post, and a link that anyone can open can't show who got it first.

## If the action looks out of date

If the app shows an action as stale, expired, changed or uncertain, reopen the current record and resolve that one. Don't start a second action to make the question go away.
