# Follow an approved invitation

## Read the current plan before acting again

Open My Network, choose Review plans, and select the person. Check the saved message, exact Send from account, and current status. The Email desk's Saved view can show Scheduled, Needs attention, or Replied or stopped plans.

For an approved scheduled plan, let the selected path handle its reviewed messages. Do not also paste the same invitation into Mail or LinkedIn and send it manually. If your app instead hands a draft to Mail, review and send it there; opening the draft is not a confirmed send.

## Understand the visible state

**Ready to review** means a decision is still needed. **Approved** records approval, not delivery. **Scheduled** means the plan is waiting within its allowed timing. None proves that the recipient received or read a message.

**Binding needed** means the approved plan needs its account or saved-link connection checked. **Send needs review** means the outcome is uncertain. **Replied** and **Stopped** mean you should review the conversation or stop reason instead of expecting the remaining messages to continue.

Engaged, Signed up, and Mac connected describe different later events where those records are available. A link visit or download is not proof of an enrolled, eligible, or earning Mac.

For Email, check the matching message in the selected account's Sent mailbox together with the app's confirmation or receipt. An automation returning successfully is not enough to establish delivery. A receipt confirms its recorded event, not that the person read the message or wants to join.

## Recover a delayed or uncertain action

Check the scheduled window and timezone first. For Email, confirm the Mac and Apple Mail are available and the selected sender is still enabled. For a supported LinkedIn plan, follow its exact account-health or reconnect notice; do not change to another account or message type.

Use Pause where the approved plan offers it. For Binding needed, Retry binding is a recovery action for the existing plan, not permission to create a duplicate invitation. Read the resulting state before taking another step.

For Send needs review, check the original account and message record before any retry. Do not mark an uncertain message as not sent just to dismiss the warning. Use Mark not sent & stop only when you have established that outcome; it is not a resend action. If you cannot establish the result, leave it unresolved and use Invitation help.

## Respond to the person rather than the old schedule

Any reply, link engagement, opt-out or do-not-contact request, bounce, complaint, stale or revoked plan, or identity or policy change stops the sequence. Silence does not extend the approved maximum or expiry.

Read a reply before deciding whether to answer a setup question, offer a demonstration, or leave the person to decide. Do not restart old follow-ups after a reply. New reply copy needs its own review and sending approval; a request to stop means no further invitations.

These instructions cover warm Email and supported LinkedIn plans. They do not authorize Facebook posting, connection requests, premium messaging, or contacting strangers.
