## Check fit for free

Start with the [free assessment prompt](/compute#assessment) when you want to test whether a bounded workflow fits Lithi Compute. It needs no account or setup and stops at fit and quote previews.

Use the result to decide whether setup is worth reviewing. The assessment does not connect an agent or change your account.

## Choose the right resource

Use a skill when your agent needs task-specific Lithi guidance. Use the [CLI reference](/docs/agent-resources/cli) for commands and the [MCP connection guide](/docs/agent-resources/mcp) for live tool schemas.

Use Copy as Markdown from the page menu when your agent needs the current document. Use Ask Lithi when you want to ask a question about the page and its published guidance.

## Choose what you need

| Need | Use | Account or approval boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Check which workflows fit | Free assessment prompt | no account, install or paid work |
| Give an agent task-specific Lithi instructions | Skill | installation/config change is previewed before apply |
| Discover the five paid-work tools | MCP | connection and credential reference require explicit setup approval |
| Inspect or operate from a terminal | CLI | persistent actions use plan/apply/status/receipt/rollback |
| Read the current public corpus | `llms.txt` / Markdown alternates | public, read-only content only |

## Review before you apply

Your agent may suggest a prompt or configuration change. Read the proposed change and approve it yourself before applying it. Nothing paid begins from this hub; setup and paid work are separate choices.
