## What you need first

Open your Compute account and confirm your role can request a quote. Choose one small task with a clear outcome and a bounded input, so a failed attempt costs you nothing.

## Run a small, reversible test

Request a free quote preview for that one task. It needs no account and never runs anything, so you can check the fit before you commit to a real quote.

## Know when it worked

A successful test returns a result you can read, plus the receipt reference behind it. Compare the result against the outcome you expected before you trust a larger run.

## If the test does not fit

If the preview returns no match, your task falls outside what Compute currently accepts. Narrow the task, or choose a different one, rather than forcing an oversized job through.
