# AI compute on Macs people already own.

We connect suitable AI work with Macs people already own. Mac owners choose when their Macs are available.

## One job, shared across many Macs.

Several Macs can work on parts of the same job. Lithi prepares the data on the customer’s machine and encrypts each part before transfer. Approved Macs process their assigned parts. Lithi checks the results and returns them together.

**Text & Data, Documents & Images, Audio & Video, Code & Tests, Models & Evaluation → Completed Work.**

Customers provide text and data, documents and images, audio and video, code and test evidence, or model evaluations. Lithi prepares suitable work on the customer’s machine and encrypts each part before transfer. Approved Macs process their assigned parts. Lithi checks the results and returns them together. Each Mac reads its assigned input. Limiting what one provider receives does not anonymize the data or provide confidential computing.

## Customers pay for accepted work.

Customers pay $0.05 per million input tokens and $0.10 per million output tokens, in US dollars. Lithi measures text, code, documents and media in tokens. The metering profile defines how each type of content is counted.

**50% — Provider pool.** Lithi allocates this share of eligible settled task revenue to a pool for Macs that helped complete accepted work.

### Customers approve the maximum charge

Customers approve the price and maximum charge in a quote before paid work begins.

### Eligible Macs share the provider pool

Each eligible Mac’s share depends on demand, availability and accepted work. Connecting a Mac does not guarantee work or earnings.

### Lithi keeps the remaining revenue

Lithi allocates the provider pool and any eligible introduction payments first. It uses the remaining revenue to run the network: finding and billing customers, routing and checking work, support and payouts. It also pays for growth, including social media ads made with Lithi’s own Meta Ads kit. This revenue is before operating costs.

Normal platform retries, default verification, and delivery are included in the customer price.

## Understand the product and its safeguards.

### Docs: How the product works

Follow a Compute job from preparation and price approval to processing and returned results.

### Trust: Records and checks

A signed receipt records the work. It includes usage and the checks performed. You can verify where the record came from and whether it has changed. Its signature does not prove that every model answer is correct.

### Security: Boundaries for each task

Lithi encrypts data before it leaves the customer’s machine. Each assigned Mac reads the input it needs to process. Lithi limits how much one provider can access.

Lithi’s key-release system can technically decrypt the pieces. Splitting work does not make the data anonymous or hide it from a sufficiently privileged or compromised Mac operator.

## Questions about Lithi

The business model, the technology, and getting in touch.

### What is Lithi building? {#suitable-work}

Lithi connects suitable AI work from a customer’s agent with participating Macs, making better use of computers people already own. Eligible settled task revenue contributes to the provider pool. Start with tasks whose results can be checked, such as extracting document fields, organizing records and processing supported media. Each task must fit the service’s formats, checks and limits.

### How does Lithi make money? {#business-model}

Lithi charges customers for accepted, authorized work. It allocates the provider pool and any eligible introduction payments, then uses the remaining revenue to run the network (finding and billing customers, routing and checking work, support and payouts) and to grow it, including social media ads made with Lithi’s own Meta Ads kit. This revenue comes before operating costs. This revenue is not profit or an investor return.

### How are results checked? {#result-checks}

Each task has agreed checks. The result includes a record of the work and the checks performed. A signed receipt helps you verify where that record came from and whether it has changed. It does not guarantee that every model answer is correct.

### How is customer data protected? {#customer-data}

Lithi prepares and encrypts data on the customer’s machine. It limits data access for each task and provider. Assigned Macs read their input while processing it.

Lithi controls the release keys and can technically decrypt the pieces. These controls do not make the data inaccessible to Lithi or to a sufficiently privileged or compromised Mac operator.

### How can we discuss investment or a partnership? {#investment-enquiries}
