You provide information and describe the result you need. Approved Macs process separate parts of suitable work. Lithi checks the results and returns them together. Lithi assigns separate parts of supported work to approved Macs. The Macs process their assigned input. Lithi checks the results and returns them together. Splitting work limits how much one provider receives; it does not anonymize the data or provide confidential computing. The customer approves data transfer and a signed quote setting the price and maximum spend before paid work begins. Do not stretch, recolor or redraw the icon, or imply a partnership or endorsement. Label the network diagram as an illustration. Contact the press team for other uses or additional artwork. ### How should I describe Lithi? {#describing-the-network} Lithi Technologies connects suitable AI work with Macs people already own. Its Lithi Agent Network lets Mac owners choose when to take part and earn from eligible accepted work. Use “Crowdsourced AI compute, powered by people.” (“Crowdsourced AI compute sharing, powered by people.” and “Crowdsourced compute, powered by people.” are accepted alternatives.) Lithi Connect is for anyone with a supported Apple silicon Mac: a person can start with one personal Mac, choose when to take part and add Macs they own or are authorized to manage. Businesses can manage approved groups. Do not imply guaranteed work, earnings or local placement, or claim measured energy or carbon savings. ### Does using existing Macs establish environmental savings? {#environmental-savings} No. Using existing hardware alone does not prove energy or carbon savings. It also does not establish zero-carbon operation or show that Lithi replaces all data centers. ### Can a Mac read the input it processes? {#data-access} Yes. Each assigned Mac reads its input while processing it. Splitting work limits how much one provider can access. It does not make the information anonymous or hide it from a sufficiently privileged or compromised Mac operator. The Trust Center explains data access and encryption-key limits. ### Does work always stay nearby? {#local-placement} No. Lithi aims to use nearby Macs when they are suitable and available. Safety, task fit, data rules and capacity come first. Local placement is not guaranteed. ### Where can I check services and earnings terms? {#services-and-earnings} Check the current availability and provider-finance guides. Confirm availability before describing a workflow as available. The provider-finance guide explains eligible revenue and payout conditions. Work and earnings are not guaranteed. Its name was a play on “lithium”.
