# Connect privacy and human control

Lithi Connect is a human-reviewed relationship workflow, not an automated messaging system. A Connector chooses the accounts and people to use, reviews the proposed work before it happens, and performs each relationship action themselves.

## Private context stays with the Connector

Private relationship context — who a Connector is reaching, why, and what has already been said — stays on the Connector's own Mac and their own connected accounts. Lithi does not send a message to another person through a Connector's account on its own.

The Connector reviews a proposed step, edits or declines it, and performs the action through their own account when they choose to proceed. That review step is not optional or bypassable by a setting.

## Human review, pause, and stop

Work pauses for review whenever a reply arrives, a stop request is received, or a material change affects the plan. A Connector can pause or stop relationship work for a person or an organization at any time.

Someone who is contacted through Lithi Connect can ask to stop. A stop request is a signal a Connector must review and respect, not an automatic system action that Lithi guarantees on the Connector's behalf.

## Payouts and finance stay separate

Lithi Connect payouts follow their own record and authority; a public Trust page cannot calculate a payout, change its destination, or prove that money has moved. Review [provider allocation and settlement](/trust/provider-finance) for the record that proves a payout, and use your current Connector account for the account-specific state.

## What this review covers

| Field | Record |
| --- | --- |
| Scope | The human-review boundary for Lithi Connect relationship work and its account-specific payout authority. |
| Status | Product boundary guidance; it does not establish a specific Connector's activity or payout state. |
| Owner | Lithi Connect and Trust teams. |
| Evidence | The Connector's own account record, review history, and the current payout authority. |
| Last reviewed | 2026-09-03 |
| Limitation | This page does not prove that a specific message was sent, paused, or stopped, or that a payout settled. |

## Limits

This page describes the intended review boundary; it is not a log of a specific Connector's actions. If you were contacted and have a concern, or you are a Connector with a question about your account, use the support path below rather than relying on this page alone.

## Primary action

[Contact Lithi](/contact) with the account or interaction you are asking about, including whether you are a Connector or someone who was contacted.
