Pair your Mac and iPhone
Pair Lithi Connect on your Mac and iPhone, verify the account and access, and recover safely if the device link does not finish.

Check both devices
Open Lithi Connect on an Apple-silicon Mac and an iPhone. Keep both devices nearby while you pair them.
Choose the same account on each device. For a first check, use the clearly labeled sample account.
Start device pairing
Open the pairing path shown inside Lithi Connect. Follow the visible prompts on both devices.
If a pairing code appears, check the devices and account before approving. A pairing code is short-lived and starts one device link.
Pairing verification checks the devices, account, and requested companion access. Approve only what you recognize.
Confirm the shared view
After pairing, check both screens for the same account and state. On Mac, review Today and the planning workspace.
On iPhone, check event details and replies. The iPhone companion supports field moments; it does not replace the Mac planning workspace.
Recover when pairing pauses
Return to the in-app pairing path and retry the visible action once. Keep both devices nearby while the state is unclear.
If pairing still fails, note the device, page, message, and approximate time. Then use the troubleshooting route for the next check.
When both views agree, continue with the matching journey. Your paired devices are ready for the next step.
Do not approve a pairing request you do not recognize. Check the account name, device names, and requested companion access first.
Pairing links the expected Mac and iPhone for approved companion tasks. It does not move the Mac planning workload onto the iPhone.
If you switch accounts, confirm the new account on both screens. Then repeat the visible verification before you continue.
