Read the reply in context

A reply changes the next decision. Read the visible conversation before you choose an action.

Check who wrote it, what they ask, and whether the reason for contact still fits. Use only the details needed for this review. Do not infer private traits from a message or profile.

If the context is missing or unclear, leave the plan paused. A clear question is safer than a guess.

Choose a response or stop

Choose a response only when the reply is clear and the original purpose still fits. Read the prepared draft and check its recipient, claims, links, and tone. Edit wording that needs your judgment, or skip the draft when it no longer fits.

Stop when the person asks not to be contacted, raises a complaint, or makes the situation unclear. Do not seek another route around the request. Keep the affected work paused while it is reviewed.

Review a material change

A material change affects the people, purpose, actions, timing, or safety limits. It creates a new decision. Earlier approval does not cover the changed direction.

Review the new recipient, purpose, wording, and stop conditions. Approve a new plan only when you can explain those choices clearly. If you cannot, keep the plan paused and ask for help.

Leave a clear record

If you respond, record that you reviewed the reply and chose the response. If you stop, record the bounded reason and leave the plan paused. Never mark a response complete when you did not choose it.

Keep private message text, credentials, and unrelated personal details out of notes. For a do-not-contact request or complaint, do not contact the person again.

When the state looks wrong, keep it paused and note the visible issue and your next question. Follow the stop conditions before choosing a new direction.
