How to start with one supported Apple silicon Mac in the guided Connect app, then check that it is ready for work.
Lithi Connect is for anyone with a supported Apple silicon Mac. Start with one personal Mac in the guided Connect app, choose when it can help the Lithi Agent Network, and check its state at any time. An AI agent such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor is optional.
Start in the guided app
Open the official Lithi Connect release on the Mac that will help and choose Set up Lithi. Guided setup pairs your account and walks you through the macOS access it needs. It downloads and installs the app components and local AI model for you.
The model download is about 6.8 GB. Keep your Mac plugged in and online while it finishes. You do not need coding skills or an AI assistant, and you can skip the optional growth steps.
Use your AI when you want help
If you want help reviewing or managing setup, open Use your AI with Lithi Connect and copy the provider setup prompt into your AI agent. The agent inspects only what you authorize, explains its plan, shows what it will change and helps you check the result. The prompt doesn’t grant access by itself, so you decide what access it gets. It can help with one personal Mac or several personally-owned Macs. Business administration has its own business Mac guide.
Both paths use the same provider account, Mac identity, availability and qualification rules.
Set up each Mac on its own
Use the official download on the Mac that will help. Each Mac gets its own setup and identity, so don’t copy a signed-in app folder, session or private identity from another Mac.
A Mac moves through these states:
downloaded → installed → enrolled → qualified → availableAn installed Mac isn’t necessarily enrolled, and an enrolled Mac can be paused or unavailable. Reaching a state doesn’t mean your Mac will get work or earn; earnings come only from accepted work.
Choose when your Mac can help
Open your Mac in Agent Network → Macs and review its working times or pause state. Your own use, maintenance and a local pause come first.
Check that setup is complete
Setup is complete when your Mac shows the state you expected. A downloaded installer or a saved configuration isn’t enough on its own.
If the app shows a problem, resume the same setup and follow the next action it shows. If your AI agent prepared the setup, ask it to check where the setup got to instead of running it again.
