Invite people you know
How to invite people you already know to share their Macs, check the exact message before it goes, and see what happens next.
You can invite people you already know, such as friends and colleagues, to share their Macs with Lithi. Lithi finds people you already know and writes the invitations. Nothing goes out until you approve it.
Find people you know
Choose Find people from Mail. Lithi reads the senders and recipients in your Mail headers on your Mac. It never reads message bodies, and it never sends anything.
The people it finds appear in People you know, your invite list. If someone shows up in several places, you see them once.
Choose a plan
Lithi prepares a complete plan for each person: a first message, plus any follow-ups that continue the same idea. Select the people you want, then choose Choose a plan for N people. Use Don't invite to take someone off the list.
Want different words? Choose Edit message. An edited plan needs a fresh review before you can approve it.
Check it before you approve
Choose Review invite list (or Review N invitations). The review shows you exactly what will happen:
- Who it goes to.
- Which account sends it. This is your Mail account and its Send from address.
- The exact message and every follow-up. You read the same words the person will read.
- When it can be sent. Lithi sends only at the scheduled times.
- When follow-ups stop.
Approve, then Lithi sends or you send
What happens next depends on the channel.

LinkedIn is optional and uses your existing first-degree connections only.
What happens next
Follow-ups stop on their own when the person replies, joins, opts out or asks not to be contacted, or when an email bounces or someone complains.
If Lithi can't tell whether a message went out, it leaves that invitation unresolved and does not send again. Check the original message in your account before you do anything else. Invitation help covers the next steps.
