Read Mac-provider earnings statements
Read provider statement periods, adjustments, units, and payout states in the correct account. Keep Mac earnings separate from customer invoices and payment reconciliation.
Open the right provider records
A provider statement explains the Mac earnings recorded for a particular account and period. It is not a customer Compute invoice, and it is not a bank payment confirmation. Start with your own authorized provider account, not another person's login.
Open Provider finance sync. Its Mac earnings and payout reconciliation section shows the records your current provider access permits. The Connect portal's Earnings overview is a different view and does not include provider Compute earnings.
Read one period at a time
Check Section, Status, Period, Amount, and currency together. A row in Mac earnings describes an earnings statement; a row in Compute payout reconciliation describes a payment reconciliation record. Do not add both rows as though they were two earnings amounts.
Use the underlying statement, when available to your role, to identify the provider account or workspace, statement reference, period, gross amount, recorded adjustments, and net amount. Keep the statement reference with your accounting record so a later correction can be matched to the original.
An adjustment is not a second payout. Read its reason and sign before comparing the net amount with a previous statement. Do not infer a new fee, commission, or referral entitlement merely from a changed total.
Compare amounts using the same unit
The provider records distinguish micro-US dollars from payment minor units. One US dollar is 1,000,000 micro-US dollars or 100 cents. The Finance view may show the stored number with USD rather than a formatted dollar amount.
Never compare those raw numbers directly. Confirm the unit in the authorized statement or export first. If the displayed amount does not identify its scale clearly, leave the comparison unresolved and ask for the source amount and unit; do not assume a number labeled USD already means whole dollars.
Separate the statement from payment
The applicable provider statement records NET30 terms, but terms alone do not establish a transfer date or arrival in your bank. Read the statement's payout state and the separate payout reconciliation. A held, estimated, or payable amount is not Paid.
A customer's invoice, your external bookkeeping entry, and a provider payout each have their own state. An invoice marked paid elsewhere does not mark your Mac-provider earnings paid.
Resolve missing or conflicting records
An unavailable Authority status is not a zero statement. Check that you are signed in with the intended current provider access, then refresh the existing read. IT-only access can legitimately omit earnings amounts; ask the business's provider owner or finance contact rather than borrowing their session.
For a mismatch, keep the period, currency, unit, visible Status and Reconciliation, and a safe statement reference. Identify which line is disputed and what you expected. Share those details through support without full bank details, credentials, customer task content, or an unredacted statement belonging to someone else.
