Start with someone you know

A friend or colleague may have a Mac they would like to share. Lithi helps you turn a real connection into a personal invitation, not a message to strangers.

Your introduction helps them discover the Lithi Agent Network. They decide whether to join, and you can share your own Mac without inviting anyone.

Choose your email or LinkedIn network

On your Mac, open My Network in the Lithi app. Start with a few people you would feel comfortable inviting.

For Email, use an account already enabled in Apple Mail. Read the local-source permission request before choosing Scan my email network. That scan reads email headers on this Mac; it does not send an invitation. Allow only the Mail and Contacts access needed for the feature you choose, and check the exact address under Send from before preparing a plan.

LinkedIn is optional. When the app offers a supported LinkedIn invitation path, connect the intended Classic account and select current first-degree connections. Do not use it for strangers, new connection requests, InMail, or a different account. An unavailable account or stale connection check is a reason to stop that plan, not switch its channel automatically.

If a channel is missing or needs reconnecting, leave that plan unapproved. A separate available Email plan needs its own permitted source, sender, review, and approval. LinkedIn is not required for Mac setup.

Make the invitation personal

1. Open a suggested person and read why Lithi thinks the invitation may fit.
2. Remove anyone you do not want to contact. Correct an old role or a mistaken relationship before continuing.
3. Choose Generate complete plan when it is available, then open Review plans.
4. Compare the suggested approaches and edit the one that sounds most like you. Browsing an alternative does not select or approve it; choose Use this draft when that action is offered, and check the saved choice before continuing.

A useful message explains why you thought of that person and what sharing a Mac involves. It should not promise a fixed income or assume they own a suitable Mac.

Review the message and timing

Read the opening message, any follow-ups, the recipient, and the sending account together. You approve the exact plan, not a general right to contact people for you.

For the Email plan desk, choose Review selected plans, check each complete chosen plan, and use the approval button that states the number of plans followed by & schedule. Review individually or Remove from this approval lets you narrow that selection. Approval allows the exact reviewed messages to send within the stated windows; a changed message, sender, recipient, link, or schedule needs a new review. Follow the exact approval offered for a supported LinkedIn plan rather than assuming Email controls exist there.

If your version instead opens a draft in Mail, check and send that draft yourself. Do not use both paths for the same invitation.

A reply stops the remaining scheduled messages. Link engagement, opt-out, a do-not-contact request, bounce, complaint, an expired or revoked plan, or an identity or policy change also stops the sequence. Read the current outcome before deciding what to do next. Silence never authorizes extra follow-ups beyond the approved plan.

Know what you share and earn

Permission to read your local sources is separate from approval to send. Sending shares the approved message with the email or LinkedIn service and its recipient.

The optional choice to help improve warm-network messages is separate again. You can decline it and still use otherwise available invitation features.

Eligible Mac invitations use 10% of eligible recruited-provider earnings, capped at 5% of the corresponding gross settled distributable Compute revenue. That is not 10% of all network revenue.
