App or device problem
How to fix a problem with the app download, setup, permissions, your account or your Mac's status, whether you use one supported Apple silicon Mac or several.
Registration did not download the app
Register To Join Lithi Connect opens registration, not an installer. Follow the official next step shown. On the official download page, Request download appears only for an offered release; a started request does not prove the file arrived. Do not use an unofficial mirror to get around an unavailable download.
macOS warns about the installer
Check the source and release instructions before proceeding. If verification fails, stop and report the warning. Do not bypass Gatekeeper, disable disk encryption, or change a business security policy. A managed Mac's administrator should review any blocked installation.
Setup Lithi stops at a step
Use a supported Apple silicon Mac that you own or are authorized to manage, then check the intended account and the first unmet setup step. Setup checks compatibility; if a check fails, read its notice before using Try again, Technical details, or the provider view's Try this step again where offered. Repeating signup or enrollment will not repair a failed download or status refresh.
Pair your account, Allow local access, and Review your first plan describe Connect feature setup. Provider setup has its own checks. Give Mail or Contacts permission only for a feature that needs it; those permissions are not a blanket requirement for every provider Mac.
For one personal Mac, open the guided setup offered by your app. If you have several personally-owned Macs, repeat setup on each Mac and check each identity separately. You can also use your authorized AI agent to review the path. Check the intended provider account or workspace, review working times, and complete the current checks. Read Set up and manage your Macs for that path.
For a business-managed Mac, follow the organization's rollout and installation method. Read Set up business Macs for that path. Managed access, provider readiness, and personal consent remain separate.
The Mac is online but not receiving work
Keep the Mac awake, powered, and connected during its permitted working times. Check current provider eligibility and the displayed notice: for example, if the Mac is paused, review its working times before trying again. Online is not eligible, and eligible does not guarantee work. The provider portal's Availability page is read-only; it is not a policy editor. An empty or unavailable reading is not proof of zero capacity.
Do not assume the app works after logout or without a user session. Use only the operating mode supported by the selected release. A paused or out-of-hours Mac does not need reinstalling just to make it available.
The account or device list looks wrong
Check the account you signed in to before proceeding. Refresh devices rereads the Connect device list, which is not provider Compute readiness. Do not copy another Mac's session or enrolled app data. Device transfer or removal is a separate sensitive action; do not use it to dismiss an unexplained status.
For support, include the app and macOS versions, visible step, notice, approximate time, and safe reference. Remove pairing codes, tokens, private files, and unrelated device-owner information from screenshots.
